A Story of Backstage

Fashion week istanbul'un üstünden bir hafta geçti ve ben birşeyler anlatmak için yeni fırsat bulabildim. Hafta boyunca süren güzel defileler vardı ve antrepo bloggera doydu diyebilirim. Kişisel fikrim, mbfwi tartışmaya çok açık ama şimdi konumuz o değil...
Bu yılki defilelerden ikisinde backstagede bulunma şansım oldu ve açıkçası güzel bir deneyimdi. Hatta önde defile izlemekten daha bile keyifliydi diyebilirim. Onun da ayrı bir zevki var tabi ama arkası daha iyi hissettiriyor.
İlk backstage salı günü Özlem Ahıakın defilesi içindi. Mini runway olarak geçen studio da gerçekleşti defile ve son derece hoş tasarımlar vardı. Benim hikayesini anlatacağım defile ise cuma günü gerçekleşen Burçe Bekrek defilesi.

I finally found the time to write abaout Fashion Week after one week. There were lots of good shows and Antrepo was filled with bloogers. 

This year i had a chance to be in two backstages and it was a good experience. Even it's pleasent more than watch the show. It has the distinct pleasure, but the back feels better.

My first backstage was for Özlem Ahıakın on thuesday.The show happened on studio as mini runway and there were nice designs. But I'll tell the story of the Burçe Bekrek fashion show on friday

Bir defile izlemekle ilgili herkesin aşağı yukarı bir fikri vardır. Davetiyenizi,biletinizi alır girersiniz, sakince oturur, izler, alkışlar ve çıkarsınız. Ancak benim gibi arkayı merak edenler adına söyleyebilirimki, orada işler pek sakin ilerlemiyor.
Everyone has an idea pretty much about watching a fashion show. You get your tickets or invitation, sit and watch calmly, applause and go out. But if you are curious about backstage as me, i can tell you that the works are not going calmly there

Defile saatinden yaklaşık 3-4 saat önce başlıyor hazırlıklar. Modellerin saçları ve makyajları yapılıyor. Diğer bir yandan kıyafetler hazırlanan looklara göre düzenleniyor.
Preparations are starting 3-4 hours ago before the show. Being done hair and make up. At the same time all looks are orginized for models.

Hazır olan modeller üzerinde kıyafetler kontrol ediliyor ve düzeltmeler yapılıyor. Ekibe brief veriliyor ve looklar üzerindeki final değişimleri konuşuluyor. Defile saati yaklaştıkça stres dozu da birazcık artıyor tabi.
Clothes are checking and change something with ready models. The brief is giving to the team and talk about final changes. In the dose of stress on the rise a little nears fashion show time.

Bütün modellerin saç ve makyajları bittikten sonra provalar başlıyor. Mankenlerin sıralamaları, yürüyüşleri ve tavırları müzikle beraber kontrol ediliyor.
Rehearsal is starting after all model's make up and hair done. Checking walks and posture of models with music.

Provadan sonraysa bir koşturma hali başlıyor herkeste. Modeller giydiriliyor,defile öncesi saç ve makyajlarındaki son düzeltmeler yapılıyor.
Uzunum diye ortalarda dolanan biri değilim ama modeller son görünümlerini aldıktan sonra aralarında biraz hobit gibi hissettiğimi söyleyebilirim:)

A scurry starting after the rehearsel finished. Models are wearing the clothes and checking last things like hair and make up.

I'm not walking like 'i'm tall' but after all models are wearing their shoes i felt like a hobbit a little bit :)

Fotoğrafını koymadım ama defile başlamadan biraz öncesi herkes için gergin bir andı. Çok hızlı bir şekilde son kontroller yapılıyor. Defile öncesindeki o kısa 5 dk tam bir kaos oluyor. Sonrasında mankenler çıkış sıralarını alıyorlar ve herkes defilenin başlamasını bekliyor. Tabi bu sırada çekilen fotoğrafların sayısından bahsedemem bile:)
I didn't put the photo but before starting the show a bit nervous moment for everyone. Doing last controls so fast. Being a chaos last 5 minutes before starting the show. Than models are line up and everyone is waiting for the show to start.Of course, i can not mention the number of photos taken in that time :)

Defile başlıyor ve mankenler podyuma çıkıyor. Değişecek son görünümler için ise arkada hareketlilik ve telaş devam ediyor...
Ve final...Burçe Bekrek'in kronofotografiden ilham alarak hazırladığı son koleksiyonunun sunumu tamamlanıyor. Hızlı ve kalabalık bir toplanmadan sonra ise bu güzel deneyim sona eriyor:)

The fashion show is starting and models walking on the runway. Scurry and bustle are still continuing for the final look will change..

And final.. The fashion show or Burçe Bekrek's latest collection is comleted which inspired  by krono photography. This beautifıl experience is ending after a fast and crowded packing up :)

Lingerie Passion

Bu blogda iç giyimle ilgili postlar gireceğimi söylemiştim ama 2 posttan sonra çok daha fazla yazmak istediğimi farkettim ve tamamen iç giyimle ilgili ayrı bir blog yazmaya başladım. Buradaki postları sevdiğinizi biliyorum umarım "Lingerie Passion"a da göz atarsınız;)

Italyanca bir pazar kaçamağı...

Yemek yapmak benim için gerçekten bir hobi diyebilirim. Yeni bir şeyler denemek ve kafa dağıtmak istiyorsam mutfak bunun için ideal bir mekan oluyor. Kendime bir süredir bu konuda vakit ayırmadığımı farkettim ve mutfağı da boş bulunca ne zamandır yapmak istediğim pesto soslu makarna için hazırlıklara başladım :)
I can say really, cooking is a hobby for me. Kitchen is the best place if i want to  try something new or to get rid of things in my mind . I noticed that i don't spare time for myself for a while and i started to prepare for pasta with pesto sauce when i found the empty kitchen.

Hala üzerimde dolaşan italyan ruhuyla İtalya'nın Genova şehrinden çıkmış olan pesto sosunu yapmaya hazırdım. Temel malzemelerim ise fesleğen,sarımsak,parmesan ve zeytinyağıydı sos için.

I was ready to make pesto sauce which comes from Genova city with  the spirit of the Italian circulating still on me.My basic ingredients are basil,garlic,parmigiano and olive oil for the sauce.

 

Hazır pesto soslarını hiç sevmediğim için tazesini yapmayı tercih ettim.Böylece bu malzemeler birleşti,karıştı ve güzel bir püre oldu. Sonrasında da makarnaya eklendi :)

I prefered to make fresh sauge because i don't like "ready pesto sauces". Thus, these materials were mixed and it was a nice puree. Then added to pasta.

Yemekden sonra tatlı olmadığını düşünemiyorum bir tatlı sever olarak... Kendisi de hafif bir italyan tatlısı olan "panna cotta" oldu. Tabi birazcık yalancı olanından :)
Görüntüleri kadar tatları da güzeldi söylemem gerekirse. Evde geçen lezzetli bir pazar günü için yeterliydi:)

I can't imagine that there isn't dessert after meal. So there was a light italian dessert"panna cotta". Of course it is a bit fake :)

I can say that they tastes were good as nice as images. It was enough for delicious sunday which is passing at home.

Oyuncaktan Bir Gün

Yıllardır bilip de gidemediğim,gidenlerin de çok beğendiği oyuncak müzesini bu hafta gezebildim sonunda. Gerçekten dedikleri kadar şirin ve güzel bir yermiş:) İstanbul'da yaşayıp henüz burayı bilmeyen çok kişi var o yüzden ben de fikir vermek için yazmak istedim.
Finally i had a chance to visit toy museum which i know for many years but couldn't go. Indeed, it's so cute and nice place. I wanted to write something about it for giving some idea because there are many people who lives in İstanbul and still don't know this place

Göztepe'de bulunan bu şirin köşk yıllar önce Sunay Akın tarafından oyuncak müzesine çevrilmiş. Daha kapıda zürafalar ve kurşun askerler karşılıyor sizi. İçeride ise çocukluğunuza geri dönüşü garanti edebilirim:) '20 lerden başlayan ve '80 lere kadar gelen sayısız oyuncak var müzede. 

This cute mansion has been converted into a toy museum by Sunay Akın years ago and it is located in Göztepe. Giraffes and lead soldiers welcomes you at the door. I can guarantee a return to your chilhood inside:) There are countless toy in the museum comes from '20s to 80's.

Müzede en hoşuma giden şeylerden biri de her bölümün ayrı bir konsepti olması ve oyuncakların bu konseptte toplanmasıydı. Favorim ise bir tren kompartımanı şeklinde döşenmiş odacıktı.

One of the things I liked the most in the museum of each chapter has a separate concept and the concept of toys were collected. My favourite one was the small room decorated like the form of a train compartment.

Bazı oyuncaklarla birlikte dönemin tarihi de anlatılıyordu. Savaşlar,hastalıklar,felaketler... Bunlar arasında beni en etkileyeni Hitler döneminin anlatıldığı bölümdü. Biraz iç burkan ve nasıl yapabilmiş!? dedirten bir kısımdı açıkçası. Her bir bölümün ses efektleriyle desteklenmesi de sizi ayrıca etkiliyor tabiki.

The history of the period was described with some toys. War, disease, disasters... Between them the most  influenced is the chapter about the Hitler area. It was a bit sad section. Each section is supported by sound effects also this affects you too.

Müze çok güzel evet ama buradaki en şirin bölüm en alt katta bulunan cafe dersem yalan olmaz sanırım:) Barbieyle Hansel ve Gratel'in evi karışımı bir yer burası. Burada da oyuncaklar sergilenmeye devam ediyor. Hatta içinde eski zamanlardan kalma bir bakkal bile var.
The museum is so beautiful but i think  if i say the cutest part of the museum is "cafe" it won't be a lie:) This place is like mix barbie and Hansel&gratel house. Here are the toys continue to exhibit. In fact, there is even an old grocery store in the cafe.

Gitmediyseniz umarım siz de ziyaret eder ve bir çay içip 1-2 saat çocukluğunuza dönersiniz. Şimdiden iyi eğlenceler:)
If you still don't go hopefully you'll visit there, drink a tea and will return to your chilhood in 1-2 hours. Have fun:)

New Year Wishlist

Uzun ve dolu dolu geçen bir 2013ü geride bırakmamıza sadece bir kaç hafta kaldı ve ben yeni yıl için şimdiden heyecanlanmaya başladım:) Her yıl olduğu gibi bu yılın da bize neler getireceğini merak ediyorum. Umarım hepimiz için sevgi ve huzur dolu mutlu bir yıl olur...

Yeni yıl demişken de yeni şeylerin hayatıma girmesi fena olmaz diye düşündüm ve küçük bir liste yaptım. Umarım bu küçük bebekleri yıl içinde dolabımda görebiliriz:))

Only a few weeks we had to leave behind 2013 and i already started to be excited:) I am wondering like every year what will bring this year to us. I hope it will be a happy year with full of love and peace for us...

Speakin of the new year i thought it would be nice to new things get into my life and i did a small list. I hope we can see these new babies in my wardrobe during this year:)

Sexy Agent is back!

Ahh sonunda merakla beklediğim yeni Agent Provocateur koleksiyonu karşımızda;) İlk yorumum kesinlikle; ağız sulandırıcı ve heyecan uyandırıcı!
Birçok kadın gibi benimde en favori markalarımdan biri,hatta biraz daha fazlası. Tabi şimdilik sadece uzaktan bakabiliyorum o ayrı :D Ama itiraf edin kim güçlü,seksi ve hakim bir A.P kadını olmak istemezki ;)
Finally showing up new Agent Provocateur collection;) My first comment is mouth watering and exciting! It is one of my favourite brand as many woman, even a little bit more. Of course, now i just can look afar :D But please confess, who don't want to be a strong,sexy and dominant A.P woman? ;)

A.P yine tam karakterine uygun çok seksi,kışkırtıcı ve fetiş bir koleksiyon sunmuş. Markanın değişmez rengi siyahı, kırmızı,pembe,mavi,yeşil ve mor destekliyor.

Yaz koleksiyonundan sonbahara yumuşak bir geçişle göz atmaya başlayabiliriz.
We can start to take a look a sof transition from summer to autumn collection.

Yaz koleksiyonuna masum bir seksilik katan çiçek desenleri, danteller,şifonlar ve ipeklerle birlikte yine kullanılmış.
Floral patterns added an innocent sexiness in summer collection.On the other hand lace, chiffon and silks used together again. 

Puantiyeler,tüller,kürkler ve 20ler esintileri de koleksiyonda dikkat çeken detaylar...
Polka dots,tulle,furs and inspired 20's are remarkable details of collection...

Vee markanın vazgeçilmez 2 detayı; vücudu saran şeritler ve dantel. Destekli korseler ve jartiyerlerle birleştirilmiş bu detayların nefes kesici olduğunu söylersem abartmam sanırım ;)
And 2 details the brand's essential, strips and lace. I don't exaggerate if i say that it is breathtaking with these details combined corsets and suspenders;)

Son olarak tabiki biraz Fetiş! Her zaman olduğu gibi yine elbiseler ve oyun kıyafetlerinde bu dokunuşa yer vermiş marka.(Ben siyah yarı transparan elbiseden gözümü alamıyorum sanırım:) ) 

Fetiş denince akla gelen 2 renk siyah ve kırmızı olduğu için bu renkleri gördüğümüze de şaşmayalım tabi. Bu iki rengi jartiyer çorabında birleştirmeleri de hoş olmuş. Püsküller ve deri detaylardan bahsetmiyorum bile, onlar olmazsa olmaz;)

Finally,of course, a little bit Fetish! As always in touch again, given the brand dresses and playsuits (I guess I can't get my eyes black semi-transparent dress:) )

When you think of fetish , two colors come to mind, black and red. I liked teo colors suspender sock also. I don't mention tassels and leather details, they have to be there ;)

Dolce Vita

İki tatilsiz yıldan sonra geçtiğimiz haftaki Çeşme tatili ilaç gibi geldi doğrusu. Bir de buna ruhumun hala kopamadığı Milano'dan tanıdığım arkadaşlarım eklenince durum keyifli bir hal aldı.
S. bize 2köpek ve 1 kedili şirin evini açtı ve böylece deniz,güneş ve bol yeme-içmeli tatilimiz başlamış oldu.
After two years without having a  holiday,last week in Çeşme was what i needed. And it had became an enjoyable situation with addition friends from Milan. S.opened to her place with two dogs and a cat and so our vacation began with the sea,beach and eat-drink.

              

Biz denize girmek için "Aya Yorgi"yi tercih ettik genelde ve favorim kesinlikle Sole&Mare! 30tl ye karşılık aldığınız 1 içki fişiyle giriş yapabiliyorsunuz içeri rahatça. Bembeyaz dekorasyon masmavi denize öyle yakışıyorki. Yemekler güzel,fiyatlar istanbul ayarı ama hizmet kaliteli;) İçeride fazla para harcamak istemeyen arkadaşlara tavsiyem "happy hours"da içki almamaları. Çünkü happy hours fiyatları anlayışına ters düşecek şekilde pahalı.İçkisiz katılabileceğiniz o saatler de son derece eğlenceli benden söylemesi:)
Cafe Pi ise daha büyük daha rahat ve giriş fiyatı dışında fiyatlar Sole&Mare'den azzıcık daha pahalı. Yine de insanlarla kaynaşması rahat bir ortam. Genç işi:P

We prefered "Aya Yorgi" for the beach and my favourite one is Sole&Mare. You can get in easily for 30tl and one free drink coupon.I liked white decoration. Foods are good, prices are like İstanbul but service has more quality:) I suggest the people who don't want to spend too much money inside, don't buy any drink on "happy hours"time. Because the prices are higher than normal time. Other than that is more enjoyable:)

Cafe Pi is bigger and more comfortable but a little bit expensive  than Sole&Mare. But still it is sociable and has a relax atmosphere.

Babylon, perfect for family; Paparazzi is small; Marrakech is muggy.

Deniz dışında, süper evine bizi davet eden ve teşekkür etmeye doyamadığım dünyalar tatlısı Esen Teyze'nin (Teyze denemeyecek kadar genç) Beyaz Ev'inde geçirdik vaktimizi. Burası kesinlikle cennetten bir parça,tarif edebileceğim fazla kelime yok aslında. Herşey, herşey muhteşemdi. Leziz yemekler,hiç durmayan şirin köpekleri Lady ve eğlenceli Alara...Ayrılması zordu :D
Out of the sea, we spent our time at the house of lovely woman who invited us to her super place.This place is definitely a piece of heaven, no more words can describe the fact that. Everything was perfect. Delicious foods, their cute dog Lady and funny Alara..It was hard to leave:D

 Yemeklere gelirsem, Kumrucu Şevki "eh" kıvamında ama Reyhan Pastanesi'nde "rokoko" yemeden dönmeyin,asla! Ege yemeklerine girmiyorum bile onları zaten sınırsız tüketebilirim :) Alaçatı'daki "Boutique Hotel 7" nin de kahvaltısı fena değil.
If i say something about food, Kumrucu Şevki was "ok" but don't leave Çeşme before try "rokoko" in Reyhan Pastanesi. I don't even mention Aegean foods, i can eat them limitless. Also the breakfast of "Boutique Hotel 7" was not bad.

Özetle bol eğlenceli,gülmeli,yemeli,içmeli,dinlenmeli,dans etmeli,şarkı söylemeli çok tatlı bir tatil geçirdim. İhtiyacım varmış,anladım. Umarım sizinde tatiliniz istediğiniz gibi geçiyordur:)
Summerized i spent wonderful times there and i realized that this was what i need. I hope you guys are having a nice holiday too :)
